This extra stage helps maintain a stronger, more stable draft, reduces smoke blowback during shifting winds, and offers added protection from rain, debris, and nesting birds — all without restricting airflow. Built for durability, it’s available in electro-galvanised steel with a black finish or premium 304 stainless steel, with an optional coastal upgrade for oceanfront installations. With multiple size options to fit different chimney types, the SAfire Turbo Cowl 4-Layer is a small design refinement that makes a big difference in how your fireplace performs.
